Refund, Cancellation, and Transfer Policy
Effective for all Behind The Veil Academy Workshops, Retreats & Digital Products
1. Refund Policy
NO Refunds for Attendee-Initiated Cancellations
All registrations are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel for any reason, no refund will be issued. However, you may transfer your paid registration to another person (see Transfer Policy below). You are solely responsible for arranging and documenting the transfer.
Refunds ONLY for Host-Initiated Cancellations
If Behind The Veil Academy cancels an event entirely (meaning it will not be rescheduled in-person or virtually), attendees will receive a full refund. This applies only when the cancellation is initiated by the host and no alternative option is provided.
No Refunds for Travel or Lodging
Behind The Veil Academy is not responsible for any travel, lodging, food, or other related expenses—directly or indirectly—regardless of cancellation or rescheduling.
2. Attendee Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration at any time; however, all monies paid remain non-refundable.

If you are on a payment plan, payments are still due unless an alternate arrangement has been made in writing.

Canceling your attendance does not release you from completing your payment plan.
3. Transfer Policy
If you are unable to attend the workshop you registered for, you may transfer your registration to another individual.

Transfers are only valid for the same calendar year of the original registration.

You must provide written notice and proof of transfer to hello@behindtheveilacademy.com.

Transfers are not credits and cannot be rolled over to a future workshop or retreat.
4. Postponement Policy
If a Behind The Veil Academy event is postponed due to inclement weather, natural disaster, venue closure, or government mandate:

Your registration will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date.

If you cannot attend the new date, your payment can be applied to another Behind The Veil Academy workshop within 12 months of the original date.

No refunds will be given for postponed events.
5. Physical & Mental Health Requirements
By registering, you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health to travel and participate in the event. We strongly advise:

Consulting with your physician before attending

Purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment
6. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By registering, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in workshop activities (e.g., using ladders, handling floral tools). You agree that:

You participate at your own risk.

You release Behind The Veil Academy, its staff, volunteers, and venue from any liability or claims.

You will indemnify and hold harmless all parties involved if legal claims are made.
7. Media Release
By attending, you consent to Behind The Veil Academy’s use of your image, voice, and likeness in promotional materials. If you do not wish to be included in media, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
8. COVID-19 Liability Waiver
All attendees must complete a COVID-19 Liability Waiver before participating in any in-person events.

9. Digital Products Policy
All digital downloads (e.g., templates, ebooks, guides):

Are non-refundable due to their nature

Include a download link on the thank-you page and via email (valid for 30 days)
