REFUND, CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY

Behind The Veil Academy Workshops, Experiences & Retreats

​

 

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All Behind The Veil Academy registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable except as specifically permitted below.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, you are not entitled to a refund.

This includes illness, travel interruptions, scheduling conflicts, emergencies, changes in circumstances, or failure to attend.

2. TRANSFERRING YOUR REGISTRATION

Can't attend?

You may transfer your registration to another person, subject to these requirements:

• The transfer must be for the same event and calendar year.

• Written notice must be sent to hello@behindtheveilacademy.com before the event.

• You are responsible for providing the new attendee's information and confirming the transfer.

• Transfers may not be rolled over to a future year.

• A transferred registration does not create a credit toward another BTV experience.

3. PAYMENT PLANS

If you select a payment plan, you are agreeing to pay the full registration amount.

Choosing not to attend does not cancel your remaining payment obligations.

If you need to discuss a payment-plan issue, contact BTV at hello@behindtheveilacademy.com before missing a scheduled payment.

4. IF BTV CANCELS THE EVENT

If Behind The Veil Academy cancels an event and does not reschedule it or provide an alternative experience, attendees will receive a full refund of registration fees paid to BTV.

BTV is not responsible for travel, airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, or other expenses incurred by attendees.

5. IF THE EVENT IS POSTPONED

If an event must be postponed due to circumstances including severe weather, natural disaster, venue closure, government action, or other circumstances beyond BTV's reasonable control:

• Your registration will automatically transfer to the new date.

• If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, your registration may be applied to another BTV experience within 12 months, subject to availability.

• No cash refunds will be issued for postponed events.

6. PARTICIPATION & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Certain BTV experiences may include demonstrations, hands-on activities, floral tools, ladders, installations, or other activities that involve inherent risks.

By attending, you agree to follow all safety instructions and participate responsibly.

You voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participation and agree to release BTV, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, and venue partners to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Behind The Veil Academy may photograph, record, and/or film events for marketing, educational, editorial, and promotional purposes.

By attending, you grant BTV permission to use your image, likeness, voice, and participation in such materials without additional compensation.

If you do not wish to be intentionally photographed or filmed, please notify BTV in writing before the event and inform the event team upon arrival. BTV will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

8. COVID-19 Liability Waiver

All attendees must complete a COVID-19 Liability Waiver before participating in any in-person events.

9. Digital Products Policy

All digital downloads (e.g., templates, ebooks, guides):

• Are non-refundable due to their nature

• Include a download link on the thank-you page and via email (valid for 30 days)

• Cannot be returned or exchanged
