I founded Behind The Veil Academy (BTV) in 2015 after struggling with the business side of the wedding and design business for many years. Yes, I have designed events for celebrities and traveled all over the world doing what I love. And was booked every weekend. BUT GUESS WHAT? I was tired and broke. And I know that I'm not alone! My husband told me something had to change. And it did. I decided I was going to take my 'business" seriously and stop treating it like a glorified hobby.
I started Behind the Veil to share my industry knowledge and uplift fellow event designers. Get ready, it's time to EXECUTE!

Milton Lawrence Jr. is a Baltimore native, US Marine War Veteran, and internationally recognized lifestyle photographer, filmmaker, philanthropist, speaker, and creative director. He is a direct response content strategist for clinicians looking to supplement and scale out of 1 on 1 therapy practice through expert positioning, digital assets, courses, and coaching. He also teaches women entrepreneurs how to build confidence and content through self-portraiture.
